Wadi Degla Trip 2019/20

Year 3 had an amazing outing this week investigating rocks at the Wadi Environmental Science Centre in Wadi Degla. The pupils had the opportunity to identify rocks by testing how hard they were. They also checked different types of the rocks, porosity and got their hands dirty by making a conglomerate rock. This was a great learning experience for Year 3, who thoroughly enjoyed being scientists for a whole day!
