Your generous donations to the Sanger Charity this year have enabled them to create these new play spaces for the children who attend their education classes. We still have a little money left that we intend to spend on outdoor toys for these areas. Pupils will be visiting the charity next term in order to find out about the charity and deliver the toys.

The Year Five classes, as part of the Science studies, visited Al-Sorat Farm where they learned about life cycles. As part of the day they also learned about daily farm life and fed some of the animals, including baby goat!
Darb1718 trip 2018/19 The Year 5 children visited Darb 1718 to experience a creative day as part of their introduction to the topic of Ancient Greeks. The children learned about the process of how clay is used to create pottery; they made their own bowls, decorated plates and even experienced time on a potter’s wheel.
Fagnoon Trip 2017/18 Year 1 and 2 had an amazing experience visiting Fagnoon Farm. Year 1 took part in a farming and pottery activity. Year 2 did woodwork and weaving. All children had the opportunity to learn how to make Baladi bread, to feed goats and to ride on a camel, horse or donkey. A great time was had by all and we returned to school with some very tired students.
