Some students from Malvern College Egypt spent two weeks at Malvern College UK during July. They have slept in one of the many College’s boarding houses and have been allocated teams which they are competing for in physical and academic challenges.
They have had a fabulous time visiting highlights such as Harry Potter World and Bourton-on-the-Water Birdlife Farm. They have swam in lakes, skimmed stones and various other activities, alongside the academic English lessons. They have been shopping, bought books, gifts and, every child’s favourite purchase, sweets!
All children have been pleased that it has not rained as much as expected, but are still getting acclimatised to the British summer and it being several degrees colder than Cairo! They have made several new friends from China and Hong Kong and have developed a higher level of independence and self-confidence.
