On December 5th pupils in Years 3 to 6 thoroughly entertained the MCE community with their singing, dancing, instrumental performances and poetry reciting. Every pupil on stage joined in singing ABBA’s ‘Happy New Year’. Year 6’s rendition of ‘Sleigh Bells’ was most impressive – a piece written with complex 2-part harmony that had been studied carefully in class to get to performance level. Head boy Reuben Maher and head girl Nancy Younes compèring the show and entertaining the audience was also a highlight!
