On the 15th and 16th of April, the primary school musical theatre CCA group performed a mini musical rendition of Robin Hood. This classic English folklore set in the 14th Century, tells the story of the adventures of Robin Hood. A Nobleman who sets aside his heritage and becomes an outlaw; robbing the rich to help the poor. Creating a performance like this, while only rehearsing for one hour a week, is really challenging and this group of students have shown many of the Malvern Qualities in their commitment to the show. Mostafa did a fabulous job as the loveable character of Robin Hood and was evenly matched by Jad as the evil Sheriff of Nottingham. It was lovely to see so many parents in the audience supporting the show and fantastic for these budding young performers to experience the feeling of putting on a live performance. Thank you to all the parents, teachers and staff for your support with this, we hope that it has inspired some more of you to join the club again next year.
