On Thursday 11th of April the Performing Arts Prefects hosted the 3rd annual MCE’s Got Talent show in the MCE Theatre and wow, what a talented bunch of pupils we have in secondary! From rock and roll bands, to blues solo’s; incredibly flexible gymnastics to drumming and drone flying, we were all thoroughly entertained for the hour. A special well done to the overall winner, the very talented Iffah for her solo performance of a self-composed song ‘Lost’. Iffah’s stunning voice would give Florence and the Machine a run for their money and what is even more impressive is that she accompanied herself on ukulele – Iffah you are a star in the making and a lady we all need to watch! The Performing Arts Prefects did a fabulous job of hosting, decorating, auditioning, and managing the show and it was really wonderful to witness our own MCE pupils taking the initiative, being brave and organising/ participating in this event. WELL DONE!
