Here at Malvern College Egypt we take Physical Education and Sport competitions very seriously. We offer a wide range of sports and activities for the pupils to take part in during their PE lessons, as well as a number of sports on a more competitive level. During the school day we focus on benchball, basketball, football, athletics, rugby, orienteering and table tennis. We believe these sports and activities provide pupils with the opportunity to become physically literate young people, improving both fundamental skills and physical capabilities. We are in a positive position this year to be able to offer a number of sports where pupils can compete across Cairo against other international schools. We have competitive teams for both boys and girls within the primary and secondary schools for football, basketball, swimming and touch rugby.
We are fortunate enough to have a team of ten teachers within the department where all are fully qualified and experienced members of staff, who have taught all over the world. These teachers each have individual specialties, further providing the pupils with a balanced and broad standard of education. We offer the IGCSE to our year 9 pupils and above, where the pupils have the opportunity to further improve their knowledge and understanding for more of the theoretical elements within Physical Education.
