MALVERN COLLEGE’S THIRD INTERNATIONAL CAMPUS

Malvern College’s third international campus, Malvern College Egypt, will be opening in September 2016.

Located in the prosperous suburb of New Cairo, Malvern College Egypt will be an international day school catering for pupils aged 3-17.

The school is expected to open with about 300 pupils and grow rapidly towards an ultimate capacity of 1500 on a 3 acre site. The school will provide an extended school day in order to give its students a first rate all round education. A full range of co-curricular activities such as sport, music, drama, art, debating and The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme will be available in addition to the rigorous academic programme. The school’s mission is to help students achieve their full potential, wherever their talents may lie, and prepare them for a university education in any English speaking country in the world.

At the Kindergarden level, pupils will be following an Early Years Programme similar to that provided by The Downs Malvern. They will then progress through iGCSEs and will ultimately have a choice of studying for either A levels or the International Baccalaureate Diploma in the Sixth Form.

The school is under the direction of the Headmaster, Duncan Grice, with Johnnie Kittermaster heading up the Primary section, and is managed in partnership with an Egyptian education organisation: The Worldwide Group for Investment and Development. Malvern College will have close and regular involvement in ensuring the quality of the educational offering through regular visits to Cairo by members of the College’s senior management.
