Backpack initiative 2018/19

We have had the first child within Early Years to bring in a filled backpack for our backpack initiative. The backpack contained all of the items which we have requested, 2 hygiene items, 2 pieces of stationery, 2 toys and a WOW item. The backpack was also clearly labelled for a girl between 4 and 7 years of age. Thank you to all the families who have provided backpacks so far. Please keep them coming into school! We want to beat last years total of 200 shoeboxes, with even more backpacks for the needy children in Cairo. With your support we can put a smile on so many children’s faces and warm their hearts with MCE generosity and thoughtfulness. The deadline for bringing backpacks to school is Thursday 6th December 2018.
