Science Club 2017/18
In our Science Club this term the students have had the opportunities to develop their investigative skills by making bouncy balls and slime, ramps for marbles, try making their own ice cream and lots more! In this session pictured the students are making a red cabbage indicator. By crushing the red cabbage and collecting the juice we can investigate what colour the juice will turn with acids, such as lemon juice, and bases, such as detergent. Using the juice we can dye paper purple and then use the acids and bases as ‘paints’ to create ‘scientific’ art!
