Pupils are members of a class under the care of a Class Teacher (up to Year 6) or a Tutor (Years 7 to 13). The Class Teacher / Tutor is the first line of pastoral care for all pupils, handling routine issues, communicating with parents, maintaining records, liaising with his or her pastoral line heads of year and passing the supervision of more serious issues on to him or her. The Class Teacher / Tutor will be consulted in all matters relating to his or her pupils, except in situations of a highly confidential nature.
