Mr Maposa and the Mathematics department have started implementing the use of Numeracy Ninjas for Years 7, 8 and 9 during form time.
This numeracy intervention is designed to fill gaps in students’ basic mental calculation strategies and to empower them with the numeracy skills and fluency required to fully access IGCSE Maths concepts when they move to Key Stage 4 study.
The booklet consists of 3 parts that students need to complete in 5 minutes. The sections consist of mental strategies, multiplication tables and key skills.
