Early Years Foundation Stage
The Early Years provides a safe, secure, happy and fun introduction to learning. Our approach puts the child at the centre of their learning with opportunities that are cross –curricular and meaningful. We encourage an interest in learning through an inquiry-based approach that engages the children in topics in which they have shown interest. Children learn how to listen to others, to communicate their ideas effectively, to solve problems and to develop resilience by persisting with tasks they may find challenging.
We understand that children develop at different speeds in many different areas so it is vital that we work in partnership with our parents so that we support every child as they progress along their life journey of learning
We believe in creating a learning environment that creates a stimulus for all our young children. We encourage outdoor learning to help cultivate their curiosity so that they develop into assured young learners who have the self-confidence and spirit to succeed in life.
