Foster Charity Dress up Day

Foster Charity Dress up Day

This week we had our third House dress-up day, to raise money for and awareness of the Foster Charity, ESMA. ESMA provides shelter and medication for many homeless and abandoned animals in Cairo. Our pupils had great fun taking part in a range of activities across the College, and enjoyed showing off their lovely costumes. The total raised was 16,870 LE – a fantastic amount! Well done and thank you to all staff, pupils and parents who supported this event. We will be consulting with the charity and our House Captains on how best to use the money.

We were lucky enough to receive a visit from Santa Claus. The children were so excited and happy to see him. Some children had letters to give to him, other children gave him their Christmas lists as well. We sang him songs and recited poems. Santa gave all of the children within Early Years and year 1 a gift. We wish you all happy holidays!

The Year 3, 4 & 5 children took the Primary School, Parents and special guests through a journey following Father Christmas around the World. We visited several countries and learned about various places and experiences he encounters on his mission to deliver all his presents. There were some great costumes, fantastic dancing and beautiful singing to be enjoyed. For some children this was their first experience to perform to such a large audience. This is part of the MCE education we aim to deliver, with children being challenged, set high expectations, and we were pleased with all who performed. Well […]
