Ramadan evening football tournament We are proud of a group of MCE Primary School pupils who, organised by Youssef Dia, entered a Ramadan evening football tournament. The boys played a series of games and made their way to the finals which was held at the Police Club, Nasr City last Sunday. We are ecstatic to observe that the boys are proud to wear their College uniform and even more ecstatic to say they won! Well done to all who participated.

Today two MCE parents, Mrs Lamees Daya and Mrs Susana Romani visited the Sanger charity to deliver the money raised on the Sanger Charity Dress Up Day. The amount of 15,000 EGP will be used to develop the play areas for children who attend education classes there.
We enjoyed lots of festive fun on Elgar Charity Dress-up Day! Students looked splendid with their Christmas or red clothes. In both Primary and Secondary they participated in fun activities during the break times. We also had a real treat with carol singers visiting classes and secondary students reading winter stories to some of the Early Years classes. The teachers were able to taste a delicious winter drink too! Thank you to everyone who supported this event. We will announce the amount raised as soon as we can!
The Year 3, 4 & 5 children took the Primary School, Parents and special guests through a journey following Father Christmas around the World. There were some great costumes, fantastic dancing and beautiful singing to be enjoyed. For some children this was their first experience to perform to such a large audience. This is part of the MCE education we aim to deliver, with children being challenged, set high expectations, and we were pleased with all who performed. Well […]
Year 10 and 11 were fortunate to have 4 undergraduate students from Oxford University visit the College. They ran information sessions with tips on how to apply to Oxford and guidance on how to succeed in the university’s interview process. Our students then took part in a debating workshop preparing for the motion “This house believes that social media corrupts human interaction” with a final, focussed debate which produced plenty of great points of interest and discussion amongst our students.
Students from Year 10 and Year 11 met with IDP Education Egypt Thursday, giving them an insight into Lancaster University and the services they offer. If you have any queries regarding Universities, please contact our Head of Sixth Form, Mrs Burnett.
This morning our families enjoyed a wonderful winter concert. All of the Early Years children from our youngest Pre-Nursery children through Nursery and Reception performed to the very best of their ability in the College theatre. The Pre-Nursery children, dressed as Christmas trees and Elves and sang three songs with enthusiasm and big smiles on their faces. The Nursery children, dressed as snowmen and snowgirls and all sang songs linked to snowmen and made a great snowmen dance together. Our Reception children, dressed as Christmas trees and Father Christmas and sang beautifully, with rhythm and coordination. Some of our Reception […]
We were delighted to have prospective families attend an open day at the College. Alongside taking a tour in our campus, the prospective families had the chance to ask the questions that they had in mind regarding our College.
