MCE is pleased to share some updates from our Sanger House charity, APE. The pictures show the development of a new playground surface at A.P.E. thanks to money raised by our extraordinary community at our highly successful International Day.
The students from Malvern College Egypt have all arrived safely at Malvern College UK. They all have enjoyed a tour of the College grounds together with other international students. Luckily, the weather is sunny and warm. Still enjoying the lovely weather here in Malvern. All are having a lot of fun at the Commandery and Worcester Cathedral. Summer Camp 2018 A day full of sport today! Our MCE children got the opportunity to swim and play hockey. Mr. Bailey, MCE Assistant Head of Primary, also visited them at the summer school and they were excited to share their stories with him as well as their newly learnt hockey skills.
Tuesday’s Primary School Assembly was even more of a special occasion this week as it was also the Year Six Leavers’ Assembly. We were first treated to several music pieces from across the Primary School and the musical celebration ended with Rola singing a solo. We then had the Primary Celebration Assembly. Children were presented with their ‘Star of the Week’ awards and Foster were announced as overall Inter-House Competition winners. After their great ‘leavers’ assembly’ the Year Six children stayed in the College to celebrate the end of their MCE Primary School years. The children changed into their mufti attire and played in several class competition games. 6M were the eventual winners. The parents had generously provided plenty of food and all thoroughly enjoyed the party. It was a superb way to end the year.
Pre-Nursery and Nursery Celebration Assembly The Pre-Nursery and Nursery children gathered in our Early Years Shared Area yesterday morning to celebrate their successes throughout this year. Each children has a set of wonderful attributes which we want to celebrate. The children sang sweetly with Miss Leen leading them on the piano and each child came up to receive their own certificate. Mrs Dibb-Holland awarded the certificates on behalf of all the teachers, shaking the children’s hands and offering them individual congratulations.
