There were 5 teams from all over the college, including the site staff, security, Sports coaches, human resource and the school’s administrative team. From the first whistle to the final whistle the competition was extremely competitive. The winners were eventually the security team who won the cup beating the maintenance in an entertaining extra time final.

Academic, sporting, musical and Malvern College Qualities were celebrated during our Prize Giving Ceremony. We heard soloists play, choirs sing and were addressed by Mr Robin Black, Malvern College Council member. A fabulous end of year event; well done to all and especially the award winners.
Once again, our annual Secondary school prize-giving ceremony took place on Monday 24th June. It was a wonderful event with over 80 awards being presented to the pupils. The theatre was full of proud family members and staff, excited pupils, and special guests. Well done to all pupils.
Sunday 23rd marked the start of our Year Six pupils’ last week in the Primary School. They started their week with a celebration of their time and led the Leavers Assembly with confidence as they retold special memories, read their favourite poems, sang to the fellow Primary School peers. All children were presented with a Leavers Certificate and enjoyed a party with their friends and their parents in a piazza afterwards. Mr Tucker was proud of all of them and wishes them well for the future.
The Reception and Year 1 children took part in their first ever Summer Concert on Thursday 20th June. Each and every child performed wonderfully, singing and dancing along to some super summer tunes! We are so proud of our children, they have grown in confidence and are demonstrating all of our Malvern Qualities in everything that they do. Each child was awarded a certificate linked to their outstanding Malvern Quality and for completing their Arabic studies this year. To watch the children smiling and having such fun on stage, really warmed my heart and brought a tear to my eye.
The Year 5 children visited Darb 1718 to experience a creative day as part of their introduction to the topic of Ancient Greeks. The children learned about the process of how clay is used to create pottery; they made their own bowls, decorated plates and even experienced time on a potter’s wheel.
The Pre-Nursery and Nursery children took part in our first ever Summer Concert on Wednesday 19th June. Commencing on Tuesday this week all Year 6 students followed a secondary school timetable experiencing secondary school lessons in preparation for Year 7. The students should be proud of their efforts and exemplary behaviour that was noticed by many of their subject teachers. Year 8 students, Shabinam and Bakinam delivered an induction presentation to the prospective Year 7’s. The current Year 7’s were on hand to answer any questions. They really helped the Year 6 students to settle into the first day and I am grateful for their efforts.
