The Year 2 pupils had an amazing trip to the Fagnoon Farm. With painting wall hangings, planting and farming, decorating photo frames, animal rides and seeing baby goats made a very busy and exciting time was had by all.
The Primary School pupils were full of energy at the Maadi Olympic Stadium. Parents, pupils and teachers witnessed some amazing individual and team performances in this spectacular Inter-House event. Well done to everyone who participated on this action packed day.
This week MCE held its Sixth Form Options Evening whereby our students applying to enter the Sixth Form were able to meet with the teachers of the subjects on offer. It was a wonderful afternoon and a value to all who attended. Please note the deadline for internal applications is Sunday 17th March. If you need to seek further advice on making those important decisions, please see the Head of Sixth Form, Mrs Burnett.
It was a pleasure to witness our very own Year 11 pupil, Nisan, receive two separate Outstanding Pearson Learner Awards for her recent (I)GCSE examination results. Congratulations on the ‘Best in Africa’ awards for both Art and Science. We are always proud of our pupils!

Year 2 have been learning all about Fashion this half term and were particularly enthusiastic about upcycling and recycling. As part of a competition children were asked to design and create an outfit using black bin bags. We were inundated with fantastic outfits and struggled to pick our finalists. However, we picked four from each class who chose their models and showed their creations in an amazing Fashion Show!
Malvern College Egypt promotes the value of kindness through a wide range of activities. Being able to support others who are not as fortunate as ourselves is a vital part of this and we are delighted to be able to work with organisations such as the African Hope Learning Centre. Our dedicated pupils, parents and staff worked hard to raise the funds donated to this unique organisation and we thank them all. Read more: http://bit.ly/African-Hope-Learning-Center
Your generous donations to the Sanger Charity this year have enabled them to create these new play spaces for the children who attend their education classes. We still have a little money left that we intend to spend on outdoor toys for these areas. Pupils will be visiting the charity next term in order to find out about the charity and deliver the toys.
