New playground at Sanger Charity – APE

Your generous donations to the Sanger Charity this year have enabled them to create these new play spaces for the children who attend their education classes. We still have a little money left that we intend to spend on outdoor toys for these areas. Pupils will be visiting the charity next term in order to find out about the charity and deliver the toys.

  • Robin Hood Production

    April 24, 2019
On the 15th and 16th of April, the primary school musical theatre CCA group performed a mini musical rendition of Robin Hood. This classic English folklore set in the 14th Century, tells the story of the adventures of Robin Hood. A Nobleman who sets aside his heritage and becomes an outlaw; robbing the rich to help the poor. Creating a performance like this, while only rehearsing for one hour a week, is really challenging and this group of students have shown many of the Malvern Qualities in their commitment to the show. Mostafa did a fabulous job as the loveable […]

The children in Nursery were given the opportunity to visit KidZania – an interactive city that combines inspiration, fun and learning through realistic role-play. Upon entry, the children were given their own cheques to cash into “Kidzos” at the Commercial International Bank (CIB) and learned the importance of working hard to earn their “Kidzos” and spend them. The children were able to move about, put themselves in someone else’s shoes, wear costumes and use props, and communicate and make decisions in character.

On Monday 1st April, the Nursery children were visited by a group of dentists from “Helio Dental” to talk about dental health.  During the visit, they talked to the children about keeping their teeth healthy and clean and gave them tips on how to brush their teeth.  The children thought about good foods to eat and those that might have too much sugar, which are bad for their teeth.  A few of the children volunteered to dress up as large teeth, and the rest of the children were given the opportunity to brush off the “sugar bugs” with a giant […]
