Year Four were the first class in Malvern College Egypt’s history to go on a class education trip; it was very exciting!
4M visited Wadi Degla where they undertook several activities regarding our ‘Habitats’ and ‘Adaptation’ topics. The class used key diagrams to identify plant life and learned about their adaptation to the desert environment. They also dissected animal pellets to identify its contents and the animals place in the food chain. The children created their own fossil prints from clay and plaster and also had the opportunity to see a bat!
We would like to thank the four parents who also helped with the trip and hope they learned a lot too!
