The children changed into their mufti attire and played in several class competition games. 6M were the eventual winners. The parents had generously provided plenty of food and all thoroughly enjoyed the party. It was a superb way to end the year.

ESMA Animal Shelter On Thursday 21st June, we took a small group of students from Foster House to our house charity ESMA – The Egyptian Society for Mercy to Animals. During this trip we had an opportunity to see the amazing work the charity is doing as well as hand over 33,000 EGP that has been raised this year through International Day and other school events (such as the Primary spelling competition and the House dress-up day, plus the kind donation of Mrs Romani’s Spanish CCA fees). Students were also able to give ESMA plenty of blankets, towels, food and […]
Primary House Handwriting Competition In Primary we have asked students to choose and copy out their favourite Malvern qualities in their best handwriting, and a handwriting champion has been chosen from each year group. It was a very difficult decision for Mr Kittermaster! Congratulations to Hania 1L, Lilia 2L, Jana 3M, Maya 4A, Sedra 5M and Husna 6A who were awarded the champion title for their year group! Overall, there were 3 champions from Foster, so they have won this House competition.

The Malvern College School Council delivered shoeboxes filled with hygiene items, toys, educational stationery and treats to the children of Al Shaimaa Primary school on Tuesday 19th December. Our families had responded so generously when we launched our shoeboxes campaign this year, and we were overwhelmed to be able to share over 220 shoeboxes with children who are less fortunate than our Malvern College students. The children and staff at Al Shaimaa Primary school were so excited to meet with our staff and students and to receive the wonderful shoeboxes.
What a fabulous concert. A huge ‘thank you’ to all of our Malvern performers – it was a terrific accomplishment for you all. It is always wonderful to enjoy good music with family and friends, and our Christmas Concert created an atmosphere welcoming everyone into the Christmas spirit.
Thursday 21st December marked not only the end of term, but also the last day for our founding Headmaster, Mr. Duncan Grice. As the first ever employee of MCE Mr. Grice made an outstanding contribution towards shaping life at the College right from the very start of the venture with Malvern College’s first ever school in the region. Duncan, his wife Dessy and their three daughters will be thoroughly missed by the whole MCE community. From all of us here at Malvern College Egypt, thank you Mr. Grice for all your hard work and good luck for the exciting new opportunities […]
Students in the Early Years and Primary School had lots of fun this week playing with Lego. Learning through Lego is a great way of developing a child’s creativity and fine motor skills as well as building on their problem-solving skills and working in a team.
We took 5 teams to participate in the Finals tournament at NCBIS. Teachers, teachers from other schools and parents have all commented on how well our students behaved and what good ambassadors for the school they were. The PE department is very proud of the efforts and contributions that students have made to sport at MCE.
The Dentists came to visit Nursery classes last week to help the children learn all about the importance of brushing our teeth correctly and eating a healthy balanced diet to make for a lifetime of good dental care.
